The whole world is loosing sleep over the endeavor for looking good without realizing that sleep itself is a beauty booster.
Night creams , men's creams, face lifts,  hair transplants,  cosmetic surgeries,  all are corroboration to this madness of looking good no matter what.
Looking good is everyone's birth right. But looking goid only at physical level is a subject to ponder upon. Frantic efforts of fitting into beauty standards is like flogging a dead horse if you are not at ease inside. Looking good is inevitable byproduct of feeling good.  Looking good adds to feeling good unquestionably  but putting all your efforts only in one aspect is not the way to work in right direction.  The turbulent life of showbiz celebrities is a testimony to this undeniable fact.
Efforts for looking good are much more complex than feeling good.  Rather than scrolling endlessly on Instagram for serums and beauty products, work on your HPA axis ( hypothalamus pituitary adrenal axis) . In simpler language balance your hormonal axis and reduce the cortisol levels. How to do it??? Eat well, sleep well, sleep n wake up in time, behave well, think well and most importantly do not hold on to negative emotions for long. This is challenging to practice though but certainly lesser than the struggle to just look good superficially.  Struggle in right direction.
When inside you are  not at peace, everyone on earth including your wife, husband,  kids , colleagues,  neighbors,  househelps , passerby,  onlookers can destroy your peace without much efforts. Opposite is also true.  When you are in harmony inside , no one has the capacity to rob you off your precious peace.
One story about a girl named rasha is apt to share in this space.  So this girl rasha is a very mediocre girl who has a job in hand and stays in an apartment with her mother. She has a very monotonous life ,going daily to office and then back to home.  On one fine morning as usual she starts from home for her office. Today she got ready early so she stopped on the way to  do window shopping in a newly opened shop of beautiful hats.  After taking a random round in shop ,she shyly tried one hat on her head and was looking in mirror. While doing so she noticed a small girl in the mirror who was looking at her with a glee in her eyes. That little girl nudged her mom and said " mamma see there, how pretty she is looking."  The mother looked at Rasha and passed a nodding smile to her.  Rasha certainly felt flattered and elated because this was something unusual happening with her today. She decided to buy the hat which made her look so noticeable and beautiful. She paid the money at the counter and left for her office.
She was feeling as if she is on cloud nine today. Though she was moving on same roads but today she was feeling the smell of roses and a breezy wind on the way. With these elated feelings she reached her office. Today the lift man also wished her with a nice good morning wish . She was quite astonished because she has been working in this office for 4 years but this lift man never wished her earlier. With a smile on her face today she entered the office and surprisingly everyone was taking a notice of her presences and people were giving her appreciating glances. She was floored with this experience. At the end of the day her boss asked her for a cup of coffee and asked her about inputs she can give for improving the work environment.  These changes were quite profound. Finally it was time to go back home.  Rasha decided to go by taxi rather than boarding a bus as she was truly happy. She reached home and rang the doorbell. Her mother opened the door and she said with a wide smile and happiness on her face " oh my sweet girl you are looking lovely today. Your are glowing so bright." Rasha said " mom , thanx to thus beautiful hat which made me look so pretty. " Her mom said surprisingly " Hat!! Which hat ? ". Rasha touched her head but there was no hat. She got panicked and started brainstorming where she left the hat , in taxi? , in office ? In coffee shop ?? Nooo......suddenly she recalled she left it on the shop counter only when she was paying money for hat. The whole day she was without hat. It was just the feeling of wearing the hat which made her feel beautiful about herself . Her inner happiness and confidence reflected outside whole day which left an impact on people's perception too.
So the moral of story is feel good inside,  it will reflect outside too .
Follow the basics of life like our grandparents generation, stay in present,  perform every task with utmost diligence and excellence, very soon there will be an inner glow reflecting outside too. This is the best reply to all the negative energies in universe who tried to block your way to feel good and look good at some point of your life.

" looks in your 20s are gifted by God . Looks after 40s are what you have created yourself."

So let's create something worth the feeling and worth looking.
Keep glowing inside out !!!!!
